Дрова на видео GF2 mx 400 под SUSE 9.2

Поблема при установк дров, сначала не находит исходников ядра, когда прописываю вручную начинает инсталлить а в конце пишет Build NVIDIA kernel failed.
Эти же дрова без проблем ставились на mandrake 10 и на slackware 10.
Подскажите плиз как решить проблему...

З пад рута ставім? Ёсьць неабходныя уціліты? gcc? kernel-source? distrib?
Што у логе NVIDIA пішацца? (/var/log/NVIDIA.xxx.log)

да с-под рута, иксы а тоже потушил, исходники ядра есть gcc тоже есть. я не знаю какие еще нужны утилиты... под slack 9.0 и mandrake 10 все без проблем ставилось..

попробуй 6111 - 5x как-то не сильно дружили с ядрами 2.6

Я пробовал ставить дрова 6106 они тоже сами не находят исходников ядра,
когда прописываю вручную начинает ставить но предупреждает: в вашем ядре
включена поддержка rivafb , драйвера nvidia конфликтуют с ней. после этого
инсталляция доходит до 100% и говорить nvidia kernel build failed.

Пробовал ставить дрова 6111, они не матерятся вообще, нормально инсталятся,
в конце говорит запусти sax2... настрвиваю, при тестировании с отключенным
3D запускается и работает 2-3 секунды, после чего вылетает. Со включеным 3D
просто мелькает экран и сразу-же вылетает с ошибкой

хм, у меня проблем с похожей техникой на работе не было... дрова 6111 были, ага, сузя 9.2... только потом надеюсь сделал rmmod rivafb или четам у тя видео щас держит && modprobe nvidia? перед запуском сакса? править xorg.conf мне пришлось вручную а не саксом, т. к. модуль по дефолту ввалил такой сканрэндж карточке, что строчник монитора жалобно завопил и чуть не прогорел нафиг

modprobe nvidia выдает такую фигню:
FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.8-24-default/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko': No such file or directory

а rmmod не делал, т.к не знаю об этом , rmmod fivafb говорить что такой модуль не найден.
подскажите плиз что еще можно сделать!

Памойму ты няправільна паказаў інсталятару на сырцы. Чаму ён іх шукае ў /lib/modules/ ? Трэба /usr/src/linux. Правер лінкі /usr/src/linux --> /usr/src/linux-2.6.8-24-default/.
