Настройка ATI Radeon

У меня следующие дефолтные настройки видео-карты:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "vesa"
VendorName "Videocard vendor"
Boardname "VESA driver (generic)"
EndSection
У меня монитор BELINEA 10 30 70(hsync: 30-95, vsync: 50-160), но в системе только имеются дрова под: 10 40 65, 10 50 95, 10 55 75.
Ну я поставил к примеру 10 55 75. Но частота маленькая h: 57,5 , v: 59,9 !
Видео-карта у меня ATI Radeon 9600PRO XT
проблемы:
Я поменял настройки Device в свойствах Дисплея на ATI Radeon (generic), там были и многие другие ATI Radeon *****, но ATI Radeon 9600PRO XT нету!
Когда перезагрузился то вроде как частота стала гораздо больше, но через некоторое время X-ы зависли (весь экран с курсором мышки застыл)!
ВОПРОС: Почему Иксы зависают или одним словом как настроить МОНИТОР с ВИДЕО картой?

Maximus, Собственно в см. сторону
HorizSync
VertRefresh
драйверов для монитора к счатьсю в природе не существует, параметры эти перепиши из мануала. За дровами сходить на сайт ati. Драйвер vesa тебе даст не более 60 Hz.

на самом деле драйвера существуют для мониторов! но это не важно!
вот поискал на www.ati.com
нашел и скачал fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0.i386.rpm
пробую установить rpm -i fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0.i386.rpm :
файл /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 из устанавливаемого пакета fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0 конфликтует с файлом из пакета XFree86-Mesa-libGL-4.3.0-42

что за бага?

Это не бага. Это типа такая кривая фича

rpm -ihv --force

rpm -ihv --force (что эта команда делает и как её применить к rpm файлу?)

применять так же, как и rpm -i. Что делает - написано в man rpm

В общем случае - решает твою проблему #2

Написано же, чего нехватает... Ставить kernel-headers от своего ядра и пробывать еще раз.
